Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 was launched earlier this year and now the company seems to be working on its successor Redmi Note 6. A few days ago, two Xiaomi devices with model number M1806E7TG and M1806E7TH were spotted on EEC certifications site allegedly called Redmi Note 6 and Note 6 Pro. Promptly, we have found a display assembly panel listed on Chinese e-commerce site Aliexpress.
The leaked panel proposes Redmi Note 6 to adopt 6.18-inch display on the front with a big notch going with the current market trend, where every smartphone manufacturer is trying to offer notched panel after iPhone X was launched. However, the spy shot didn’t reveal much about the specifications, but an extra hole can be seen, which could be reserved for the Infrared facial recognition sensor. Apart from that, front-facing camera module and Earpiece are also present on the chin. Further, we have to wait for more leaks to judge the upcoming Xiaomi machine accurately.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 have a 5.99-inch Full HD+ display, Snapdragon 625 processor, 12MP rear and 5MP front-facing camera sensors, a 4,000 mAh battery, up to 64GB storage, 8GB RAM and MIUI 10 based Android 8.1 Oreo. Therefore, we can expect some major changes over its predecessor.
