Asus has just unveiled a new smartphone named as Zenfone V (V520KL) in the U.S. the device will be available exclusively on Verizon. It is made out of glass and seems a very shining device in terms of design.
Speaking on the configurations, the Asus Zenfone V features a 5.2-inch 1080p Full HD AMOLED display protected with an unspecified version of Corning Gorilla Glass. Moreover, the company claims to have Bluelight Filter for Eye Care. It is powered by a year old Snapdragon 820 processor paired with Adreno 530 GPU. Under the hood, the device is having 32GB of internal storage coupled with 4GB DDR4 RAM.
As for optics, the smartphone is integrated with 23MP, f2.0 rear camera with 4-axis Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) including dual LED flash. On the front, it has 8MP f/2.0 front-facing camera with some attractive features such as Real Time Beautification, HDR and GIF Animation. The handset is backed by 3,000 mAh battery with 9V==2A 18W fast charging adapter.
Essential sensors are present on this device including Accelerator, Compass, Gyroscope, Proximity, Hall sensor, Ambient light, IR (Laser Focus), and Fingerprint (front mounted) sensors. It runs on Android 7.0 based on company,s custom ZenUI 3.0. Other features are 4G VoLTE, 802.11a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS with Glonass, USB Type-C 3.0, DTS, and 3.5 mm headphone jack.
