Samsung Galaxy J7 Max SM-G615F vs Samsung Galaxy J7 Pro

Recently, Samsung has launched Galaxy J7 Pro and Galaxy J7 Max in India. The Samsung Galaxy J7 Pro is Indian variant of Galaxy J7 (2017) with same specification while J7 Max comes with comparatively larger 5.7-inch 1080p TFT IPS display.

To recall, The Galaxy J7 pro comes with 5.5 inches 1080p Super AMOLED display. It is powered by Exynos 7870 processor with Mali T830 GPU whereas J7 Max gets MediaTek MT6757V Helio P20 processor with Mali T880 GPU. In terms of storage, J7 pro has 3GB RAM and 64GB internal storage while max variant packs 4GB RAM and 32GB built in storage. As far as battery is concerned, Pro variant is packing 3500 mAh variant and Max variant has surprisingly smaller 3300 mAh battery, even having larger display form factor.


Both the smartphones are boasting 13MP, f/1.7 rear camera and 13MP, f/1.9 front facing shooter for optics. These also have new Social Camera for instant sharing to social apps, and stickers, Discover photography spots, restaurants and shopping areas. These two phones are running on Android 7.0, Nougat out of the box.

The Samsung Galaxy J7 Pro and Galaxy J7 Max come in Black and Gold colors and are priced at Rs. 20,900 (USD 325) and Rs. 17,900 (USD 278), respectively. As far as availability is concerned, The J7 Max will be available from 20 June whereas J7 Pro will be available from around mid-july, however date is not confirmed.
