Coolpad slashed priced of its flagship smartphone Coolpad Max that is now available at Rs. 13,999 after a flat discount of Rs. 11,000 during the Coolpad Anniversary sale on Amazon India, which began on Tuesday and is scheduled to last three days . Coolpad is also celebrating 1 million customers in India with its new Anniversary sale on Amazon India. The price cut is temporary and is applicable till the sale lasts.
Coolpad launched the Coolpad Max in May priced at Rs. 24,999. It was launched exclusively on Amazon India and was available in Rose Gold and Royal Gold colours. The Coolpad Max runs Android 5.1 Lollipop with the company’s CoolUI 8.0 skin on top. The biggest highlight of the smartphone is its ‘Dual in One’ system. It sports a separate external system and a secure internal system for encryption of the user’s calls and texts. The internal system can be used to download ‘fully secure’ apps.
The Coolpad Max (also features a Dual Space system that enables users to have two accounts of WhatsApp, Facebook, Messenger, and other apps on the same phone. The smartphone also bears a fingerprint sensor on the back panel that is claimed to work with wet fingers as well
For specifications, the Coolpad Max features a 5.5-inch full-HD display with Corning Gorilla Glass 4. It is powered by 64-bit 1.5GHz octa-core Snapdragon 617 coupled with 4 GB and 64GB internal storage which is expandable up to 64 GB via micro SD slot. There iss a 13-megapixel rear camera alongwith 5-megapixel front facing camera. This device packed a 2800mAh non-removable battery with Quick Charge 3.0 support.
At this price point it creates great competition with other devices available in the market. There is a direct competitor of this device is Moto G4 Plus which is available at Rs. 13,499 and 14,499 respectively for 16 and 32 GB variants.
