ZTE has finally announced its much anticipated dual-screen smartphone called Nubia X. The key highlight of the device is that it holds two displays, one on front and another one on the back. The primary one is a 6.26-inch panel with 2280 x 1080 pixels Full HD+ resolution, while, the secondary panel is a 5.1-inch at 720 x 1520 pixels HD+ resolution. Both the displays are protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 on the top.

Further, the smartphone is powered by the powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor coupled with Adreno 640 GPU. The device runs on Android 8.1, Oreo out of the box, which isn’t the latest one due to the heavy custom skin. As for optics, it has a vertically aligned dual 16MP+ 24MP rear camera with a dual-tone dual LED flash, HDR, panorama and up to 4K UHD video recording. Surprisingly, there isn’t any selfie camera as it was rumored earlier.

The Nubia X houses 3,800 mAh non-removable battery to keep the light on, supplied with an 18W adapter to charge it quickly. As far as storage is concerned, the device offers multiple variants; either 6GB RAM + 64GB of storage or 8GB RAM + 128/256 of internal storage. But, the storage can’t be expended which shouldn’t be an issue as the phone is already offering adequate space. When it comes to biometric recognition, interestingly, the device has two side mounted fingerprint sensors on both sides. Moreover, it includes all the required connectivity options.

ZTE Nubia X Price and Availability

The ZTE Nubia X is priced at 3,299 yuan for base 6GB RAM and 64GB of storage variant, which goes up to 4,299 yuan for higher 8GB RAM and 256GB of built-in storage variant.
