huawei sub-brand Honor unveiled a new smartphone called 6A for Chinese market with 4G VoLTE support in it. It is a budget oriented smartphone with average specs.

The Honor 6A comes with 5-inch 720p HD display on front. It is powered by an Octa-Core Snapdragon 430 which we have already seen in various mid-range devices. In terms of optics, It has a 13-megapixel rear camera with PDAF offering focus in 0.5 seconds and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera.

It has a unibody metal design, has a fingerprint sensor mounted on the back that can unlock the phone in 0.5 seconds. The handset is backed by 3050 mAh battery to keep the lights on which company claims to provide 12 hours of video playback or 57 hours of music playback on a single charge. For storage, it has two variants, one with 2GB RAM and 16GB storage while the another one comes with 3GB RAM and 32GB built-in storage. It runs on Android 7.0 out of the box. Other connectivity features include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS + GLONASS and micro USB port.

Honor 6A Pricing and Availability

The Honor 6A priced at 799 yuan (approx. $116 /  7,500 INR) for the 2GB RAM with 16GB storage version and the 3GB RAM with 32GB storage version costs 999 yuan (approx. $145 / 9,375 INR) and comes in Gold, Silver, Blue and Pink color options. It will be available starting from June first for Chinese market. Unfortunately, there is no information available regarding its launch on other parts of the world. As of now, it is exclusive for China.
