The iPhone 7 is mere days away from its September 7 unveiling, but until that actually happens it’s never too late for a forecast by a respected analyst. KGI Securities’ Ming-Chi Kuo has rounded up all the available intel on Apple’s next-gen smartphone in a new report.
Here are some important stuff related the iPhone 7 before launch. The new A10 chipset will likely have its CPU clock set at 2.4GHz, though a lower number is not impossible to prevent heating and excessive power consumption. The iPhone will come with 2 GB of RAM but iPhone 7 plus may have to support 3 GB of RAM according to rumours. There are some rumours (almost confirmed) that the iPhone 7 plus will feature dual camera setup.
That dual camera will be made up of two different 12MP sensors mated to different optics. One shooter will have larger pixels and a 6-element wide-angle lens, plus OIS and the another one will get a longer 5-element lens. The vanilla iPhone 7 should come with just one 12 MP cam. also a 4 LED Flash also rumoured with dual camera setup.
For storage, apple will not offer 16 GB variant this time. The iPhone 7 will come with 32 GB of base storage. Other variants will pack 64 GB and 128 GB of storage. The iPhone 7 plus will go up to 256 GB of inbuilt storage for top variant.
No headphone jack this time. It will come with Lightning EarPods and Lightning-to-3.5mm adapter bundled. The earpiece is said to be upgraded to a full-on speaker, complementing the regular one on the bottom (just one there, despite appearances).
The home button cannot be clickable as it will be pressure sensitive. Both iPhones will come with IPx7 certification which mean the iPhone 7 should survive for up to half an hour up to a meter underwater.
Both devices will come with 5 colour options: a new glossy piano black, and dark black to replace space grey, plus silver, gold and rose gold and the proximity sensor might be upgraded from an LED to a laser-based solution.
Also there was some more leaks related iPhone 7 pro but this model not going to launch this time according to some latest rumours. So just wait for Apple event everything will be official in next few days.
