Lenovo Z5 Pro with Super AMOLED screen, slider camera, Snapdragon 710 goes official

Lenovo has announced its new smartphone in “Z” series to b called Z5 Pro. Basically, it is a successor of Lenovo Z5, that was launched earlier this year and already up for purchase in various markets. The Lenovo Z5 Pro comes with a 6.39-inch 1080 x 2340 pixels Full HD+ Super AMOLED display at 19.5:9 aspect ratio. The handset offers up 95.06% screen-to-body ratio as per the company’s claim. It is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 710 chipset cloaked at up 2.2 GHz, further, adds Adreno 616 GPU for graphics-intensive tasks.

It houses 3,350 mAh non-removable battery and runs on ZUI 10 based Android Oreo 8.1 out of the box. As for optics, it has a dual 16MP, Sony IMX519 sensor plus 24MP  Sony IMX576 sensor, f/1.8 rear camera, whereas, the front side is managed by another dual 16MP, f/2.2 combined with 8MP IR Camera for face lock. The device also includes the in-display fingerprint sensor to unlock the device.

Regarding the storage, the Z5 Pro arrives with either 64GB or 128GB internal storage paired with 6GB of RAM on both. Besides, all the required connectivity options are present including Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (dual-band), Bluetooth 5, GPS + GLONASS, USB Type-C, and NFC. The Audio department gets Dolby Atmos for enhanced audio. Sadly, 3.5mm headphone is no more on this device and supplied with USB Type-C to 3.5mm converter of the box.

Lenovo Z5 Pro Price and Availablity

The Lenovo Z5 Pro is priced at 1,998 yuan (approx. $290) for the base 6GB RAM with 64GB storage version and the 128GB storage version requires 2,298 yuan (approx. $330). It comes in only black color options and will start shipping from November 11 in home country China.
