LG V30 was one of the most successful smartphones from the Korean brand. Recently, the company officially scheduled a launch event for its successor LG V40 Thing, that will be unleashed October 4 at LG Science park, Seol, South Korea. Lately, the device was successfully to obtain certifications from multiple authorities including FCC, GCF, and NRR. Now, a configuration chart, obtained by Androidguidesp with printed model number LM-V405N, gives us more precise look about its specifications. The model number hints that this could be a Korean variant and might be exclusive to the home country.

As per the provided image, the device will have a massive 8GB RAM and 128GB storage. Previous rumors pointed 6GB RAM variant, but the current leak informs us about the presence of even a higher variant. Rest of the specs remain same what we already know, a 6.4-inch 1440 x 3120 pixels QHD+ display, 3,300 mAh non-removable battery with obvious fast charging support.

The device is powered by the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor paired with Adreno 640 GPU. The optics department is handled by the triple 12MP f /1.5 + 16MP f /1.9 + 12MP f/2.4 rear cameras, while, on the front, it has a dual 8MP + 5MP camera combination. The device is expected to arrive with fresh Android Pie on the top of the company’s custom UI.
