Recently, Few rumours suggested that Meizu was working on two improved versions of the Pro 6 it’s been selling since May. It was reported with an Exynos 8890 processor, the same one which can be find in the Korean company’s S7 line and the Note7. All these rumours have been clarified by Meizu Vice-President, Li Nan.

According to Mr. Nan, there will be no Exynos 8890 phone citing dual 4G network policy as the reason. He also mentioned that the Pro 7 will be released next year although he didn’t reveal any of the specifications.

So then it’s pretty clear that the company’s next device will be the Pro 6S, as rumored before. This should become official by the end of the month, boasting a 5.2-inch 1080p touchscreen just like the non-S version, but swapping that model’s MediaTek Helio X25 SoC for the Helio P20. After that, before 2016 draws to a close, expect to see two more Blue Charm / m-series handsets from Meizu.
