Finally, the Oppo has announced its much-awaited smartphone pair Oppo F9 and F9 Pro in India. These smartphones share most of their specifications. Both the devices are equipped with a 6.3-inch Full HD+ waterdrop display at 1080 x 2220 pixels display, which company claims to provides up to 90.8% screen-to-body ratio. Considering the chipset, there are powered by MediaTek’s 12nm Helio P60 Processor coupled with ARM Mali-G72 MP3 GPU.
Moving further, Oppo F9 and F9 Pro are packed with a 3,500 mAh battery with fast charging support but doesn’t have VOOC Flash charging, that was introduced in China with whooping 50W power support, unfortunately, not compatible with these devices, still, normal VOOC charging is enough to charge the device rapidly. Both the handsets run on ColorOS 5.2 based Android 8.1, Oreo out of the box. In terms of optics, these devices share rear camera, which comes with a dual 16 MP, F/1.9 + 2 MP in-depth sensor, while, the front camera on Oppo F9 is a 16 MP shooter and Oppo F9 Pro comes with higher 25 MP front-facing camera.
Moreover, Oppo F9 has 4GB RAM and 64 GB internal storage and Oppo F9 Pro offers up to 6 GB of RAM and similar 64 GB of inbuilt memory. Both the devices carry essential connectivity options including Dual 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 ac (dual-band), Bluetooth 4.2, GPS and Type-C charging port. besides, these handsets are true dual SIM devices and come with dedicated micro SD slot, unlike the other Chinese devices.
Oppo F9 & F9 Pro Pricing and Availability
The Oppo F9 is priced at 19,990 and comes in two Black and Purple color options. On the other hands, the big brother F9 Pro is priced at 23,990 INR and offers three Sunrise Red, Twilight Blue, and Starry Purple color options. At the time of posting, we don’t have any information about the availability of Oppo F9 but Oppo F9 Pro will be arriving on August 31 through offline and major online stores including Flipkart, Amazon and more.
