Sharp Z3 with QHD display, Snapdragon 652 processor and 64GB storage goes official


The Chinese smartphones maker Sharp has unveiled a new smartphone called Z3. The smartphone seems to be launch soon in Taiwanese market as its official video is available on the YouTube channel of Sharp Mobile Taiwan.

The Sharp Z3 features a 5.7-inch 1440x2560p IPS LCD display on front. It is powered by Snapdragon 652 processor paired with Adreno 510 GPU. As far as storage is concerned, it packs 64GB built in storage coupled with 4GB of RAM. Fingerprint sensor is embed on home button. For optics, the smartphone comes with 16-megapixels rear shooter PDAF, OIS and dual LED flash. on front side of the device, it has 13-megapixels selfie camera 13-megapixel that supports PDAF and 80.7-degree wide-angle shooting.

It has a 3100 mAh battery inside to keep the lights on. The handset comes with pre-loaded Android 7.0, Nougat out of the box. he rear side of the Sharp Z3 bears resemblance to iPhone 7 as it antenna strips on the top and bottom edges. It measures 157.9 x 78.5 x 7.78 mm and its weight is 185 grams.

Pricing and Availability

The Sharp Z3 is priced at NT$ 1,3990 (approx. 30,000 INR or $462) and it will go for sale in Taiwan starting from April, 15 via Synnex dealers and PChome shopping online. It might hit to other Asian specific regions in May. Since Sharp smartphones are not sold usually in the U.S., the Sharp Z3 may not arrive in the country.
