The Chinese firm UMIDIGI is planning to launch a new smartphone dubbed as S3 Pro. The key highlight of this smartphone is its sony’s 48MP rear camera with the IMX586 sensor. According to the leaked information, it will be the company’s best smartphone ever launched in the market and speculated to be the first smartphone to arrive with the sony’s latest sensor.
To recall, Sony had announced IMX586 stacked CMOS image sensor in July month of this year and it counts highest megapixels on any smartphone till date, further it adds world-first ultra-compact pixel size of 0.8 μm. If we consider some smartphones with the highest megapixels cameras, then we have Lumia 1020 with the 41MP rear shooter and recently launched Huawei Mate 20 and P20 Pro bring 40MP snapper respectively. However, the highest resolution doesn’t give a guarantee of a better camera, but it should definitely provide sharper images.
Beside camera, the device is expected to have a 5,150 mAh non-removable battery under the hood. Apart from that, we don’t have much info regarding the rest of the specs, but it should arrive with powerful hardware given that it is a flagship line-up from the company.
