If you remember Vivo had recently launched V7+ smartphone for the Indian market. Now, the company announces the standard variant called V7. The device features 5.7-inch 720 x 1440p HD+ FullView 2.5D curved glass display with Corning Gorilla Glass 4 protection. It is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 450 chipset built on 14nm process, as we have already seen on V7 Plus.
Moving to optics, the headset flaunts 16MP rear camera with LED flash, f/2.0 aperture, OmniVision OV16880 sensor, PDAF, while, the front side is surrounded by a 24MP shooter with LED flash, f/2.0 aperture. Therefore, camera specs are similar to plus variant. It runs on Android 7.1.2, Nougat based Funtouch OS 3.2. It has 32GB inbuilt storage coupled with 4GB of RAM. A fingerprint sensor is embedded in the rear to unlock the device safely. Other connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 4.2, GPS + GLONASS.
The device is backed by a 3,000 mAh battery. Apart from that, Vivo V7 comes with dedicated micro SD slot including two nano SIMs slot. It measures 149.3 x 72.8 x 7.9mm and weight is 139 grams.
Pricing and Availability
The Vivo V7 comes in Matte Black and Gold color options and is priced at 3,799,000 (approx. $280 or Rs. 18,000) for Indonesia. When it comes to availability, the device is up for pre-orders starting from today and will go on sale starting from 18 November. Moreover, the device is coming to India on November 20th exclusive on Flipkart.
