Recently, Xiaomi had announced two new smartphones namely Mi Mix 2 and Mi Note 3. Now, it seems that the company is working on an another smartphone. A new Xiaomi smartphone has been surfaced on GFXBench codenamed as “Xiaomi Chiron.” It will worth noting that the device had already appeared on the same platform, but that time it was considered as Mi Mix 2.
According to GFXBench, the device will have 5.6″ 1080 x 1920p display using traditional 16:9 aspect ratio. Further, it houses Qualcomm’s 2.4GHz 0cta-core SoC paired with Adreno 540; most probably, it would be Snapdragon 835. Regarding the storage, The tested version has 6GB RAM coupled with 256GB storage. In the camera department, the device employs 12-megapixels rear and 5-megapixels front facing camera combination. Besides, the device will be operated by Android 7.1 based on MIUI as per the listing. All the essential sensors are present on this device including NFC.
Overall, provided details indicate that it could be another flagship device from the Chinese manufacturer. However, offered configurations somehow match with Mi Mix 2, but Mix 2 was launched with 5.99-inch 18:9 ratio tri-Bezeless display whereas, this one is having 5.6-inch traditional 16:9 ratio screen. In addition, we have yet to know when will it launch and on what price point!
