The update itself weighs around 1.1 GB as far as size is concerned. If somehow you are unaware of Oreo features, it comes with several new features such as AutoFill API, Night Light mode, Picture-in-Picture mode, improved battery life and many more. As Mi A1 operates on stock Android, you should expect all of these features to be bundled in. The update also brings latest security patch of December month.
As always, the update is being rolled via OTA, so that might take some time to reach your device. If you feel impatience, you can check it via heading to setting > Software or can wait to be informed by the company itself. The update can be installed by downloading the ROM available on MIUI forum if you can,t for OTA. All the instructions are given on MIUI Forum.
