Xiaomi don’t need any introduction all they are selling thousands of smartphone in just few seconds. Today, the company announced, Mi Max 2 phablet as expected. It is successor of Mo Max which was introduced last year.
Moving to specifications, the Mi Max 2 features 6.44 inches large display with 1080 x 1980p Full HD resolution. It is powered by Snapdragon 625 processor whereas Mi Max was launched in two variants: 64GB storage model with Snapdragon 650 SoC while the 128GB variant with Snapdragon 652 processor. It has an improved 12MP rear camera with Sony IMX386 sensor, 1.25μm pixel size, PDAF and dual-tone LED flash and 5MP shooter on front to capture selfies.
The key highlight of this device is its 5300 mAh battery which can be charged rapidly as it comes with Quick Charge 3.0 support included dual charging module that offers better heat dispersion. The company claims it can provide up to 18 hours of video playback or 57 hours of talk time on a single charge.
In terms of design, the handset comes with 7.6mm thick metal unibody design with rounded edges. To enhance the audio experience, the device pack dual stereo speakers, one embedded into the earpiece and other on the bottom. Fingerprint sensor integrated on back near camera lens.
As far as pricing is concerned, it is priced at 1,699 (approx. 15,900 INR) yuan for 64GB RAM variant whereas 128GB model costs around 1,999(approx. 19,000 INR). It will go for sale in China starting from 1st June with only golden color option.
