Xiaomi launched the Mi Max phablet in India back in June this year starting at Rs. 14999. It went on sale in the country from July through Mi.com, Amazon.in, Flipkart, Snapdeal, Tata CLiQ and Paytm. Now it has started selling the high-end variant called Mi Max Prime with a Snapdragon 652 Octa-Core SoC, 4GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage.
In terms of the difference between Mi Max and the Mi Max Prime, company packs an improved processor which is Snapdragon 652 (octa-core) as compared to the snapdragon 650 (hexa-core). Their have 4GB of RAM as compared to the 3GB on the original model. And also an internal storage of 128GB as compared to the 32GB on the original one. But as far as the other specs go, all of them remains the same.
Other features include 6.44-inch full-HD (1080×1920) 342ppi display, 4,850 mAh battery, 16-megapixel rear facing shooter with a f/2.0 aperture and a LED flash and 5-megapixel front facing camera. For connectivity, It has 4G LTE with VoLTE, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS/ A-GPS with Glonass, and Wi-Fi 802.11ac.
