Xiaomi announced a new variant of Mi Note 2 called Mi Note 2 Special Edition in an event in China. Basically, it has same specs as Mi Note 2 with more RAM which is 6GB. The handset comes with 6GB RAM and 64GB of internal storage. Other specs will remain same as standard one.

The Mi Note 2 Special Edition features 5.7 inches Full HD AMOLED display, Snapdragon 821 paired with Adreno 530 GPU, 22.5 MP rear, and an 8MP front camera. It has got 4070 mAh battery with fast charging support. For OS, it runs on Android 6.0.1 out of the box. As far as pricing is concerned, it is priced at CNY2,899 (approx. US$430 or 27,500 INR) and comes in Black color only.
