Intex has launched a new smartphone in the Cloud series called the Cloud Tread. It is an entry-level offering that runs Android 5.1 Lollipop, and comes with 3G and dual-SIM support. The phone has been priced at Rs 4,999, and will be available exclusively on Snapdeal starting August 30th in grey and champagne colours.
The Device Tread features a 5-inch HD display with Dragontrail Glass protection. The phone packs a 1.5GHz hexa-core MediaTek MT6591 processor paired with a Mali 450 GPU and 2 gigs of RAM. It comes with 16 GB of inbuilt storage which you can further expand up to 32GB by using a microSD card.
It comes with a 5-megapixel rear shooter with an LED flash and HD video recording support. On the front, it features another 5-megapixel shooter with a 3P lens. The camera app comes loaded with features like Face Beauty Mode, Gesture Capture, Zero Shutter Delay, HDR, and Self Timer. A 2,200mAh battery completes the list of the specs.
At this price point, the Cloud Tread looks like a decent deal with an HD display, a hexa-core processor, 2GB RAM and 16GB storage. However, there’s no support for 4G LTE networks, which might be disappointing for some.
