Samsung has officially announced two new flip smartphones namely Galaxy Folder 2 and Leadership 8 (AKA G9298). Earlier, the name was rumored to be called as W2018 with a bunch of leaks, but Samsung surprised us by naming it as Leadership 8.
Leadership 8 (G9298)
The Leadership 8 smartphone comes with 4.2 inches Full HD dual displays on either side front and back of the device. It is powered by Snapdragon 821 processor paired with Adreno 530 GPU. Regarding design, The phone is composed of aviation-grade aluminum alloy while storage is 64GB coupled with 4GB RAM.
In optics department, It has got 12MP rear and 5MP front-facing camera. It includes some other features such as Samsung Pay, Secure Folder, Wireless Charging, Always-On-Display, and S-Voice, etc. A 2300 mAh battery backs the handset to keep the lights on.

Samsung Galaxy Folder 2
The Galaxy Folder 2 flip phone features a comparatively smaller 3.8 inches WFVGA TFT display. It is powered by less powerful Snapdragon 425 SoC, compare to Leadership 2’s Snapdragon 821. For storage, the device grabbed 16GB internal storage with 2GB RAM.
Under the hood, The dual SIM device packs 1950 mAh battery. As for optics, it has 8MP rear snapper as well as a 5MP selfie camera.

Pricing and Available
As we predicted, The leadership 8 (that time W2018 :p) is a China exclusive device but not the case with Galaxy Folder 2. The Galaxy folder 2 to has been launched in Samsung’s home country South Korea, priced at 297,000 won or roughly converted to US$ 260 at the time of posting. Both the devices come only black color option.
On the other side, Leadership 8’s pricing and availability details aren’t shared by the company, so we have no idea when or on what price point it would be released.
