Last Year, Coolpad collaborated with another Chinese manufacturer LeEco, they have either launched few smartphones jointly. But, at present, LeEco has totally moved off from Indian market whereas Coolpad is still alive.
The Coolpad announces a new smartphone called “Coolpad Note 5 Lite C” in India, Meanwhile, company has already announced Note 5 and Note 5 Lite in the country. The device features a 5.5 inches HD display with 2.5D curved glass protection. Under the hood, It carries Snapdragon 210 chipset (even JIO feature phone is said to use the same chipset 😀 ) with a 2500 mAh. The fingerprint sensor is implanted on the back side of the device.
Regarding storage, 16GB onboard internal storage is given coupled with 2GB RAM; Storage can be expanded via hybrid micro SD slot. The device measures 142.4 × 70.4 × 7.95 mm and weighs 139 grams. As for optics, It has an 8MP rear camera as well as a 5MP front-facing shooter. The device is operated by Android 7.1, Nougat with Cool UI 8.0 on top. Other connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS and micro USB 2.0 port.

The Coolpad Note 5 Lite C is priced at Rs. 7,777 (approx. US$ 125) and comes in Gray and Gold color options. As far as availability is concerned, It will be available through various offline stores in eight states of the country – in Delhi-NCR, Haryana, Telangana, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh and Maharashtra.
