Honor India has finally launched Honor 8X smartphone in India as expected. The device has already been launched in China and some other markets and now its time for India to get this Honor mid-range device.
Honor 8X Specifications and Features
The Honor 8X comes in 6.5-inch 1080 x 2340 pixel Full HD+ IPS LCD display with 19.5:9 aspect ratio. Under the hood, it is powered by the octa-core Hisilicon Kirin 710 chipset paired with Mali-G51 MP4 GPU. Further, it adds GPU Turbo technology for optimized gaming experience and other graphics-intensive tasks. The handset runs on EMUI 8.2 based Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box.
Regarding the optics, it has dual 20 MP, f/1,8 + 2 MP (depth sensor) rear cameras and a single 16MP, f/2.0 aperture front-facing shooter for selfies. These cameras include plenty of AI features to take perfect shots. It is crafted by double texture design coupled with 2.5D on both front and back. A rear-mounted fingerprint sensor is present to unlock the device safely. It is backed by the 3,750 mAh non-removable battery with charging outputs of 5V==2A (10W). The storage options are available 64 GB of storage with 4/6GB RAM or 6GB RAM with 128GB of internal storage with dedicated micro SD slot for further storage expansion.
As for dimensions, it measures 160.4 x 76.6 x 7.8 mm and weight is 175 grams. All the essential connectivity features are included such as 4G VoLTE, dual-band Wi-Fi 802.11ac (2.4GHz and 5GHz), Bluetooth v4.2 LE with aptX support, GPS/ A-GPS, GLONASS, BeiDou, a micro-USB port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.

The Honor 8x comes in Black, Red and Blue color options and is priced at for base variant Rs. 14,999, which goes up 16,999 for 6GB + 64GB and 18,999 for 6GB RAM + 128GB storage respectively.
