Samsung has officially announced Galaxy A series 2017. The company has unveiled Galaxy A3 (2017), Galaxy A5(2017) and Galaxy A7 (2017) smartphones.
All the three smartphones are IP68 certified meaning they are water and dust resistant. The phones come with a metal designs and 3D glass back which offers them a premium look. The new Galaxy A (2017) series handsets come with include a USB Type-C port, Fast Charging, and Always on Display. The A7 and A5 come with 16MP front and rear cameras that offers different modes to optimize photos and enhance the color of images.

Samsung Galaxy A3 2017
The Samsung Galaxy A3 (2017) sports a 4.7” Super AMOLED display of 720p resolution. It is powered by 1.6GHz octa-core CPU. There are two cameras, 13MP at the back and 8MP at the front. Both snappers come with F/1.9 apertures.
The smartphone comes with 2GB RAM and 16GB of inbuilt storage. It packs a 2,350mAh battery with adaptive fast charging support. Colors are Black, Blue, Pink and Gold.

Samsung Galaxy A5 (2017)
The middle member of the new series, Galaxy A5 (2017) packs a 5.2” Super AMOLED screen of the same 1080p resolution. It also has the same Exynos 7870 chipset with 8 Cortex-A53 cores running at 1.9GHz and 3GB of RAM. The 32GB storage is once again expandable via a microSD slot.
This smartphone has another couple of 16MP cameras, one for each side but it loses the F/1.9 fast aperture. Battery capacity has also been dropped to 3,000mAh, but the Fast charging is still here. Color options are once more Black, Blue, Pink and Gold.

This smartphone comes with 5.7” FullHD Super AMOLED screen as well as a 1.9” Octa-core CPU and 3GB of RAM on an Exynos chipset. It comes with a 16MP primary camera and a 16MP selfie snapper, both featuring bright F/1.9 lenses. Storage is 32GB and is further expandable via a microSD card slot.
The Samsung Galaxy A7 (2017) is packs a 3,600 mAh battery with Fast charging support. It will be available in Black, Blue, Pink and Gold color options.

The Galaxy A (2017) series will be available in Russia in early-January and will be expanded to global markets later on. Pricing is yet to be detailed.
