Samsung is bringing Android Nougat update to its Galaxy A5 (2017) and Galaxy A7 (2017) in India. It will worth noting that recently, the company has also started pushing the Nougat update to J7 (2016) and J7 Prime across the country.
Further, The update arrives on A5 (2017) with firmware version A520FXXUBQI5 while the size of the update is 1376.35MB. Along with Android 7.0 OS, it brings several other features such as entirely new UX UI, Dual Messenger function, also brings improved settings menu and Always On Display, the enhanced usability of Multi-Windows and notification center.
Moving on, the same update is rolling to Galaxy A7 (2017) as well. It employs the firmware version A720FXXU2BQI2 and file size is almost same with 1376.35MB. Now we have new UX UI, Dual boot massager, improved settings menu, AOD, Multi-Windows, and notification center. All in all, all the Nougat updates sent to Samsung mid-rangers are delivering almost same features.
Besides, both the updates are rolling via using Over-The-Air (OTA) method, that means you will see a notification popping up for the new update. You can either check it manually by heading to Settings > Software updates if you feel impatient.
