Samsung Galaxy Fan Edition (FE), improved version of Note 7 announced officially

Finally wait is over as Samsung relaunched its much-anticipated smartphones Note 7 under the name of “Samsung Fan Edtion”. To recall, the Note 7 was globally discontinued due to fire catching issues. There were several cases where the exploded main in US land and some other parts of the world.

Moving to Samsung Fan Edition, It is very identical to Note 7 but with some key changes. The battery of the device has been reduced to 3200 mAh which was 3500 mAh earlier. Also it comes with new OS which is being used Samsung’s current flagship Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus integrated Bixby. Samsung also admitted the new device is made out with unused Note part of Note 7.

Samsung Galaxy Fan Edition Specification

To recall specification, Samsung Fan Edition has 5.7 inch 1440 x 2560p sAMOLED display with Coring Gorilla 5 Protection. It is powered by Exynos 8890 proceaasor coupled with 4GB RAM. In terms of storage, it has 64GB built in storage which can be further expended up to 256GB via micro SD slot. For option, the handset flaunts 12MP rear shooter whereas as 5MP front snapper. As we above mention, their is a 3200 mAh battery instead 3500 mAh on older version.

Pricing and Availability

The Galaxy FE is priced at 699,600 Won (approx. 611 USD or 38,000 INR) and comes in Blue Coral, Gold Platinum, Silver Titanium, Black Onyx color option. It will be available in Korea starting from 7 July. As of now company aims to sell 400,000 units and overseas availability will be decided later.
