About a couple of week ago, Samsung had announced its latest flagship, called Galaxy Note 8 and was up for pre-bookings since yesterday in home country South Korea. Today, the Korean giant said that approximately 400,000 people have pre-booked the phablet on the first day.
It will worth noting that these numbers are way bigger than its predecessor Galaxy Note 7, which was able to receive about 380,000 units pre-booked in 13 days. The report reads it that 64GB variant obtains 65% of share and Blue is most favorite color among the users. Besides, recently launched Galaxy S8 managed to bring 550,000 pre-bookings in first two days.
You might be aware of, The Note 8 is available in two storage variants; Standard 64GB and another is a special edition with 256GB of inbuilt storage. The 64GB variant priced at 1,090,000 KRW (approx. $960 or Rs. 61,500), which goes up to 1,250,000 KRW (approx. $1,100 or Rs. 70,500) for 256GB variant. As far as availability is concerned, The device will start shipping from September 15 for those will be pre-ordering whereas, it will start selling from September 21 to normal consumers.
