Samsung launched Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus couple of weeks ago. There were some rumors that Samsung might launch a new version with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage and it got cerified in ahead of the announcement. Now the company made it official via blog post on its Korean website.
The Samsung Galaxy S8+ (SM-G955N) is confirmed to come with 6GB RAM + 128GB storage version that will go on sale in South Korea later this month. To recall, S8 plus features 6.2-inch QHD+ display, Exynos 8895 Processor, Android 7.0 OS, 3500 mAh battery, 12MP+8MP front and rear camera with 6GB RAM, 128GB internal storage.
Apart from that, Samsung is offering free Samsung Dex desktop dock for those who are going to pre-order this device. As far as pricing is concerned, It will be available at 1,155,000 (approx. US$1,016 or Rs. 65,770) South Korean Won with contract or 1,27,0000 South Korean Won (approx. US$1,116 or Rs. 72,325) without contract. The handset comes only Midnight Black color option and will start shipping from April 18th. This version is also expected to launch in China soon.
Additionally, Samsung Electronics will provide Samsung Mobile Care one year for all its customers who open by May 31, or 50,000 won discount for genuine accessories, 50,000 discount for genuine accessories, and the right to use multimedia.
