Sharp Aquos S3 gets certification from NCC confirming vertical dual rear cameras

Sharp’s Aquos S3 has been certified by Taiwan’s regulating authority NCC (National Communications Commission) arriving with the model number of FS8032. The Aquos S3 is a successor of Aquos S2, that was launched last year in August month. The certification site also revealed a vertically aligned Dual camera lens similar to its predecessor with a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor.

It will worth noting that the device is already got certified by TEENA. As per the specification mentioned in TEENA, the device is supposed to bring 5.99-inch 2160 x 1080 pixels FHD+ display, of course, 18:9 aspect ratio. It will have 2.2 GHz octa-core processor, which later confirmed by Geekbench as Snapdragon 630. Regarding the storage, it will be coming with 4/6 GB RAM coupled with 64/128 GB internal storage. For cameras, the primary camera is dual 12 MP + 13 MP combo including a 16 MP selfie shooter on the front. The battery department is handled by 3,100 mAh battery.

The Aquos 2 was launched with 5.5-inch 18:9 aspect ratio display having Snapdragon 630/660 processor depending what variant you have chosen. We can also expect a different processor variant with Aquos 3. As of now, we haven’t heard words from the company about its launch, but the device will be launched anytime soon.
