ZTE sub-brand nubia has announced its much awaited smartphone, ZTE Nubia Z17 with massive 8GB RAM on board for higher variant. It is company’s flagship smartphone of 2017 with great on board specs in budget oriented device.
The ZTE Nubia Z17 comes with 5.5 inches 1080p Full HD display with Corning Gorilla Glass (unspecified version) protection. It is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor with Adreno 540 GPU underneath. In terms of camera, the device boasted 12MP rear camera with f/1.8 aperture alongside 23MP secondary camera for 2x optical zoom and 10x dynamic zoom. On front side, it has 16MP camera to capture cool selfies.
The handset is backed by 3200 mAh battery with Quick Charge 4.0 support. It runs on Android 7.1.1 with company’s own Nubia 5.0 UI to provide it different touch. Stereo speakers are also added to provide enhanced audio experience. Other connectivity options include 4G LTE, WiFi 802.11ac dual-band (2×2 MU-MIMO ), Bluetooth 4.1, GPS/GLONASS/Beidou, NFC and USB Type-C.

The device dimensions are 152.60×72.38×7.6 mm and weights 173 gram. A fingerprint sensor is embed on rear and comes with hybrid slot like other Chinese smartphones. As far as pricing is concerned, it is priced at 2799 yuan for the base 6GB RAM / 64GB storage version, 3399 yuan for the 6GB RAM / 128GB storage version and the top-end 8GB RAM / 128GB storage version costs 3399 yuan. The device will be available starting from 6th June in Gold, Gold, Black, Blue and Red color options while it is already up for pre-orders in its home country China.
