The Chinese smartphone maker Gionee has announced a new smartphone called M7, as it had promised. The device brings 18:9 ratio display and Dual rear camera and several new features.
The handset features 6.01-inch 1080 x 2160p Full HD+ AMOLED display. In the camera department, It flaunts Dual 16MP f/1.8 + 8MP rear cameras while, on the front side, the device is having an 8MP, f/2.2 front-facing shooter to capture selfies. Under the hood, the device is powered by MediaTek Helio P30 2.3GHz octa-core processor, paired with the ARM Mali-G71 MP2.
The internal storage is 64GB coupled with 6GB of RAM. It is operated by running on Android 7.1.1, Nougat with company’s custom Amigo OS 5.0 UI. As far as the design is concerned, the device is made out of the full metal unibody design.

A 4,000 mAh battery backs the device to keep the lights on with 18W (9V==2A) fast charger. The device dimensions are 157 × 76 × 7.2 mm, and 180 grams weight. The fingerprint sensor is embedded on the back to unlock the device. Apart from that, all the essential connectivity options are present on this device including NFC. Besides, the company claims that the device is secured with dual security chips, and passed through EAL6 security test to provide encrypted mobile payments.

Pricing and Availability
Considering the price, Gionee M7 is priced at 2,799 RMB (approx. 425US$ or27,000 INR), and comes with five different color options including Sapphire Blue, Star Blue, Maple Red, Champagne Gold, and Black. The device will go on sale starting from tomorrow.
