Gionne’s VP Yu Lei has today announced S11 “Fan Hua” or Youth Edition, inspired by the movie Fan Hua A.K.A Youth (2017). However, the device is customized neither internally nor externally but comes with some extra accessories packed in the FanHua gift box. Apart from the standard accessories, it will have youth album diary, art canvas bag, retro wallet, courage badges, and a custom protective case. The standard variant of S11 was announced last month and offers some decent specs in the given price bracket.
The Gionee S11 comes with 5.99-inches 1080 x 2160p FHD+ FullView display on the front. The device is powered by MediaTek MT6763T Helio P23 processor paired with Mali-G71 MP2. Regarding the storage, it has 64 GB internal storage coupled with 4 GB RAM: storage can expend even further via the hybrid slot.
The dual rear cameras have 16 MP + 5 MP sensors combo, whereas, on the front, it is having another dual combo with 16 MP + 8 MP sensors. The headset runs on Android 7.1 (Nougat) based on company’s custom Amigo 5.0 and carries 3,410 mAh non-removable battery. Considering the price, the custom “Fan Hua” variant is priced at CNY 1,899 or roughly converted into 285$, that is CNY 100 more than the standard S11. The device will be available for sale by tomorrow on TMALL.
