Huawei Mate 10 series rumor mill has been in full swing, every day we are getting new leaks. Recently, we have encountered with some images showing the full front panel. To extend the rumor chain further, Chinese tipster Ice Universe conveys some case protector images of Mate 10 (most probably the pro variant) exposing the rear panel of the device first time.
The rear portion of the device somehow resembles the Mate 9, but the interesting part is that there is no fingerprint shown neither on the front nor the back as per the leaked images. The fingerprint might be placed on the power button, or the company would be thinking to remove and come up with Face Lock solution, similar to iPhone X.
In fact, Huawei stated on twitter “Feeling disappointed? We’ve got a real surprise exceeding anything you’ve ever seen.” mocking the iPhone X’s high price. That could be an indication of similar kind of product (iPhone X) at an affordable price.

Besides, everything looks to be normalized. The dual rear vertical camera module is being in the middle, surrounded by LED and laser focus holes. The 3.5 mm jack is still present at the bottom part of the device. Apart from that, the device is rumored to bring three variants including standard Mate 10, Mate 10 Lite and Pro variant.

Mate 10 Pro codenamed as Blanc likely to feature 5.99-inch (2880 x 1440 pixels) Quad HD+ IPS display, Android Oreo with Emotion UI 6.0, 4,000 mAh battery and IP68 rated water and dust resistant 7.5-millimeters thick body. Further, the optics department will be taken care by 20MP (Monochrome) + 12MP (RGB) Dual rear cameras with Leica lenses, f/1.6 aperture, dual-tone LED flash, Laser AF, OIS and an 8MP shooter on the front to capture selfies. The storage will be either 64GB or 128GB combining with 6GB of RAM.
The rear camera is expected to be 20MP (Monochrome) + 12MP (RGB) Dual rear cameras with Leica lenses, f/1.6 aperture, dual-tone LED flash, Laser AF, OIS and an 8MP shooter on the front to capture selfies. The storage will be either 64GB or 128GB combining with 6GB of RAM.
Mate 10 Lite with the codename, supposed to bring 5.88-inch 2,560 x 1440p IPS display with traditional 16:9 aspect ratio. It will have 4GB RAM coupled with the only 64GB storage option. The battery capacity is 4,000 mAh battery, but with slightly thicker 8.23-millimeter dimension. When it comes to connectivity, Blanc or Mate 10 Pro will use faster LTE Cat. 16 modem whereas, Lite variant will be shipped with LTE Cat. 12 modem.
Apart from, standard variant’s specifications are in the dark. It will bring Kirin 970 for sure, but we have no idea about rest of the things. The company is holding a launch event on October 16 in Germany to unveil the whole new Mate 10 series.
