We have a precise look at Huawei’s upcoming flagships Mate 20 and Mate 20 Pro as far as exterior design is concerned, but still, something remains in uncovered which we aren’t aware of. Thankfully, we have some renders of Huawei’s conference, that will take place on October 16 in London.

As shown in the provided shots, the Mate 20 Pro (codename: LAYA) will have Super Charge 2.0, that could support up to 40W of electric output giving it potential to charge the device 70% in just 30 minutes. Also, it has a 15W wireless charger as an alternative. The device will have 4,200 mAh non-removable battery under the hood. The handset further adds 3D facial recognition coupled with a Bone Voice ID.

The Bone Voice ID is a new concept, which allows the users to unlock the device with voice command, even in the noisy environment, claimed by the company. Besides, the in-display fingerprint reader is present to enhance the device security further.

Interestingly, the Mate 20 series support nano SD card instead of traditional microSD. All in all, the company is trying best to innovate new things. Considering the rest of the specs, the Mate 20 pro is expected to arrive with 6.3-inch QHD+ AMOLED display, a triple rear camera, IP67/68 water, and dust resistance, Type-C charging port and Corning Gorilla Glass Protection.

On the other hand, the standard Mate 20 (Codename: HIMA) lacks the wireless charging, in-display fingerprint sensor, SuperCharge 2.0, and 3D facial recognition technology. The Mate 20 will instead use 2D face unlock features, which takes comparatively long time to unlock the device. Both the devices will get the company’s latest chip HiSilicon Kirin 980.
