LeEco Le Pro 3 goes official in home country China. Interested buyers can already register for the first flash sale next week. The smartphone will be available in Gold, Grey, and Silver color variants.
There is no 3.5 mm headphone jack same is we have already seen in LeEco Le 2. A headphone adapter will ship with the smartphone. The company is also touting its Continual Digital Lossless Audio (CDLA) support, for hi-fidelity audio, as well as Dolby Atmos-powered audio.
Sofware and Hardware
The LeEco Le Pro 3 runs EUI 5.8, based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow. The dual-SIM (Nano-SIM) smartphone sports a 5.5-inch full-HD (1080×1920 pixels) display with 2.5D curved glass, In-Cell touch tech, and a pixel density of 403ppi. It is powered by a 2.35GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 SoC that’s coupled with the Adreno 530 GPU.
In terms of connectivity, the LeEco Le Pro 3 supports 4G LTE (with support for bands in India), Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, NFC, GPS/ A-GPS, and Bluetooth v4.2, apart from USB Type-C. The smartphone bears a 4070mAh battery, measures 151.4×73.9×7.5mm, and weighs 175 grams. The device packs almost all needed sensors fingerprint, proximity sensor, ambient light sensor, accelerometer, gyroscope, and an infrared emitter under the hood.
The Le Pro 3 sports a 16-megapixel rear camera with a f/2.0 aperture, PDAF, HDR, BSI CMOS sensor, 4K video recording at 30fps, and a slow-motion recording of 720p at 120fps. On the front, the smartphone bears an 8-megapixel camera with a f/2.2 aperture and a 76.5-degree wide-angle lens.
Pricing and Availability
The LeEco Le Pro 3 has been launched in four variants. The 4GB RAM + 32GB inbuilt storage version has been priced at CNY 1,799 (roughly Rs. 18,100), while the 6GB RAM + 64GB storage version has been priced at CNY 1,999 (roughly Rs. 20,100). The company also unveiled two Zhang Yimou editions, named after the famous Chinese filmmaker. The 4GB RAM + 64GB storage Zhang Yimou edition is priced at CNY 2,499 (roughly Rs. 25,100), and the 6GB RAM + 128GB inbuilt storage version has been priced at CNY 2,999 (roughly Rs. 30,100).
Beyond the differences in memory and inbuilt storage, all other specifications remain the same. There were strong rumors about 8GB RAM variant of the LeEco Le Pro 3. As for now, there is no word from the company on this matter. The storage is not expandable via microSD card, while only one SIM card slot supports 4G connectivity at a time. It bears a fingerprint sensor on the rear panel.
