Lenovo has just launched K8 Note smartphone in India as it promised. During the launch event, the company had revealed that they have had sold 8.5 million “Note” devices in India since the inception of the first K-Series smartphone. Moreover, this is first Lenovo smartphone to carry dual rear camera setup. The company spokesperson also explained why they skipped “K7 Note”; eventually, The K7 was not enough to fulfill desires what the people were willing for; so they directly jumped two generation up and introduced K8 Note.
For specification, The device features a 5.5-inch 1080 x 1980 pixels Full HD display with unspecified Corning Gorilla Glass protection. It is powered by MediaTek Helio X23 (6797D) deca-core (4 x 1.4GHz A53 + 4 x 1.8GHz A53 + 2 x 2.3GHz A72) processor paired with Mali-T880 MP4 GPU. This the first smartphone to adopt Helio X23 chipset on any device. Further, the device runs on Android 7.1.1 stock android, no more Vibe UI on Lenovo device to provide timely updates and security patches. Regarding storage, it will be available in available in two variants: 3GB RAM + 32GB storage or 4GB RAM + 64GB storage, while expansion option is available to add further external storage via dedicated microSD slot. The K8 Note measures 154.5×75.9×8.5mm and weigh 180 grams. Additionally, the company is also pushing Dolby Atmos support to provide enhanced audio experience.

Lenovo K8 Note Pricing and Availability in India
The Lenovo K8 is priced at Rs. 12,999 (approx. 200US$) for 3GB/32GB variant which goes up to s. 13,999 (approx. 220 US$) for higher-end 4GB/64GB variant. As for availability, it is an Amazon exclusive device and will be available from August 18, 12 pm IST onwards and comes in Fine Gold and Venom Black color options.
