Nokia 3 has confirmed to get Android 7.1.1, stated HMD’s Chief product officer in a twitter post. Since the company has promised to provide 2 years of update support for their Android devices, now looking conscious to pushing further updates. Even though Nokia 3 is using entry level Meditek 6737 processor and there are several circumstances for MediaTek to not provide timely support. But, Nokia’s announcement has proven wrong to those claims.

It is worth mentioning that the device is currently running on Android 7.0, which the company delivered out of the box.
