Oppo has announced its much-anticipated smartphones called Oppo R15 and R15 Dream Mirror Edition as expected. Both the smartphones are accumulated with 6.28 inched OLED 1080 x 2220p (19:9 aspect ratio) Full HD+ display on the front. Both of the smartphones are less with AI-based super fast Face unlock feature, that is well capable of unlocking the device as low as 0.8 seconds, claims company. Moreover, these smartphones powered with latest Android 8.1 (Oreo) based on ColorOS 5.0 out of the box.
Oppo R15
The Oppo R15 is powered by Helio P60 chipset with an octa-core CPU (4x A73@2.0GHz and 4x A53@2.0GHz) paired with Mali-G72 MP3 GPU. It has 128 GB of built-in storage coupled with 6 GB RAM. Regarding the battery, it is having 3,450 mAh non-removable battery with VOOC fast charging support.
Oppo is known for camera smartphones, similarly, it continues the trend. On the rear, it is surrounded by dual sensors shooter, where the main shooter is a 16MP Sony IMX519 sensor (1/2.6″, 1.22um) with f/1.7 lens, the secondary is a 5MP shooter with f/2.2 aperture lens. On the front side, it boasts 20 MP shooter, f/2.0 aperture to capture clean selfies with bokeh effects.

Oppo R15 Dream Mirror Edition
The Oppo R15 Dream Mirror Edition uses the same AMOLED display similar to R15. The main difference between both the smartphones is its processor. It is powered by Snapdragon 660 processor paired with Adreno 512 GPU. The memory pattern is same with 6 GB RAM and 128 GB internal storage combination.
It is packed with slightly smaller 3,400 mAh non-removable battery with VOOC charging support. The camera options include dual rear cameras on the rear. The main sensor is a 16MP Sony IMX519 lens, while the second one is a 20MP f/1.7. The selfie department is managed by an 8MP shooter, of course, AI-based bokeh portrait mode is supported. Both the smartphones are packed with a fingerprint sensor as an extra security unlock feature.

The Oppo R15 is priced at 2,999 RMB (Approx. 475$ or Rs. 30,000) and comes in Snow White, Hot Red, and Star Purple color options. The Oppo R15 Dream Mirror Edition costs 3,299 RMB (Approx. 520$ or Rs. 33,800) for Red color, while the Ceramic Edition costs 3499 Yuan (Approx. 550$ or Rs. 35,935 approx.). Both the smartphones are already available for pre-order and will be available for sale from April 1 in China.
