Recently, Amazon India and Oppo tied up to introduce a new brand called “Realme”, finally the first smartphone has been disclosed under this new brand called Oppo Realme 1 as it was promised. Unlike the other Oppo smartphones, the device provides very good specs under a budget segment which is not the case with other Oppo smartphones.
The Oppo Realme 1 features a 6.0-inch 1080 x 2160p (18:9 aspect ratio) IPS LCD Full HD display at 402 PPI with 84.8% claimed screen-to-body ratio. It is powered by MediaTek Helio P60 SoC coupled with Mali-G72 MP12 GPU, also used on Oppo F7. Considering the storage, the device offers three storage variant including 3 GB RAM + 32 GB storage, 4 GB RAM + 64 GB storage and 6 GB RAM + 128 GB storage respectively. The handset runs Android 8.1 (Oreo) based on Oppo’s custom ColorOS 5.0 out of the box.
For optics, the Realme 1 has 13 MP rear camera and an 8 MP front-facing camera for selfies. Similar to other latest Android smartphones, the device offers face unlock claimed to unlock the device as low as 0.1 seconds. The camera also offers AI stickers, AI beauty mode that learns and improves the beautification based on user preference.
The device is packed with a 3410mAh non-removable battery with AI capabilities, that would understand your usage pattern, likewise, help to a better battery backup. Other connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 ac, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, and Micro USB 2.0 charging port. All in all, Oppo smartphones are infamous for a selfie-centric smartphone, but the time the company entered with a different approach.

Oppo Realme 1 Pricing and Availability
Oppo Realme 1 comes in Moonlight silver and Diamond black color options and priced at Rs. 8,990 for standard variant, 64GB costs Rs. 10,990, which goes up to 13,990 for 128 GB storage variant. It is an Amazon exclusive device with being up for sale starting from May 25, but only 32/128 GB storage variant while, 64 GB storage option supposed to start selling next month.
