Samsung has finally announced Galaxy C8 smartphone after a long tail of leaks and rumors. The device resembles the Galaxy J7 Plus which was recently introduced in Thailand. Indeed it is the same smartphone with different storage and RAM.
The handset sports 5.5-inch Super AMOLED display at 1080 x 1920p resolution. It is powered by octa-core processor clocked at 2.39GHz; it should be most probably MediaTek’s Helio P20 SoC going with frequencies.
It has dual vertical rear cameras; 13MP standard with f/1.7 aperture while the secondarily is a 5MP with f/1.9 aperture telephoto lens. Combination of both the camera will help you to capture depth information and better-focusing abilities. The front side is covered with a 16MP, f/1.9 selfie shooter to obtain selfies.
A 3,000 mAh battery backs the handset. It is equipped with a fingerprint scanner embedded in the home button and facial recognition technology to unlock the device. Considering the storage, It will be available in two variants 32/64GB coupled with 3GB RAM. The OS is Android 7.1.1, Nougat based on company’s custom TouchWiz UI.

Pricing and Availability
The Galaxy C8 is currently available in China and comes in Black, Gold and Pink color options. Regarding price, we have yet to know about price as the company still didn’t disclose the device pricing.
