The Samsung Galaxy Note 7 will be relaunched in India early next month – October 7 to be precise, according to a recent report out of the country. Interestingly, the new iPhones will also go on sale in India on the same day.
As we already seen, Recall was made official in India back in August, and was supposed to go on sale in the country on September 2, the day the South Korean company issued a global recall for the phablet over battery fire hazard.
The Galaxy Note7 stock that will go on sale in India will be newly-manufactured, the report notes. This means that there won’t be any refurbished versions of the handsets that were earlier manufactured.
Moving to specifications, Samsung note 7 features a 5.7 inches 1440*2560 pixels display. It has 64 GB of inbuilt storage coupled with 4 GB of RAM. The device packs a 3500 mAh battery under the hood and powered by Exynos 8890 processor paired with Mali-T880 MP12 GPU. As far as camera is concerned, it has 12 MP f/1.7, 26mm, phase detection autofocus, with OIS rear shooter along with 5 MP front facing camera.
For pricing, it was launched at Rs. 59,990 back in September and the price will remain same this time as well. Samsung already started shipping new Note 7 devices in US and starting to ship other parts of the world. Though, Note 7 already damaged Samsung’s fame badly.
