Samsung Galaxy Note 9 price in India starts from Rs. 67,900, will start shipping from August 22


Yesterday, Samsung announced the next gen. Note series smartphone dubbed as Galaxy Note 9, that brings some latest features and accessories such as Bluetooth powered S-Pen, which has been a specialty of “Note Series.” The handset packs a larger 4,000 mAh battery including updated Dex Mode for projection. We are already aware of its pricing for the USA market, but today the company also announced its Indian price and release date.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 9 is priced at Rs. 67,900 for 128 GB storage variant and 512GB variant costs Rs. 84,900 or converted into approx. 985 US$ and 1,230 US$ respectively. The device is available for pre-orders, both online and offline, and it will start shipping from August 22 across the country. The Samsung also offering some interesting offers for the pre-bookers including Gear Sports watch only for Rs. 4,999, which usually costs Rs. 22,900. Moreover, The smartphone offers three color variants—Midnight Black, Ocean Blue, and Metallic Copper in India.

Samsung Galaxy Note 9 Features

The Samsung Galaxy Note 9 comes with a 6.4-inch 1440 x 2960 pixels Super AMOLED display with HDR10 compliant and typical Always On Display at 516 PPI pixel density. The Indian variant is powered by Exynos 9810 chipset coupled with Mali-G72 MP18 GPU. As I mentioned above, It has a 4,000 mAh non-removable battery with Quick Charge 2.0.

It is equipped with dual 12MP dual-aperture f/1.5-2.4 wide and 12MP f/2.4 telephoto cameras and both of them have Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) for better videography experience. On the front, there is an 8MP, f/1.7, selfie shooter, similar to the Galaxy Note 8. The Galaxy Note 9 includes a traditional S-Pen, but this time it has built-in Bluetooth. The S Pen has a range of 10 meters and a battery power of about 30 minutes, then it will only 40 seconds to recharge it fully.
