Samsung has launch Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus smartphones for the Indian market. Both devices were showcased last month by company and already up for sale various part of the world.

The Samsung Galaxy S8 has a 5.8 inches 1440×2960 pixels Super AMOLED display with 83.7% screen-to-body ratio, highest on any Samsung smartphone. It has two variants, Snapdragon 835 powered model for US specific region and Exynos 8895 for its international audience. As far as storage is concerned, it has 64GB internal storage coupled with 4GB RAM. It packs a 3000 mAh battery under the hood. For optics, it comes with 12MP Dual Pixel rear camera with LED Flash, f/1.7 aperture and 8MP autofocus f/1.7 aperture front-facing camera.
On the other hand, The Samsung Galaxy S8 plus, bigger variant has 6.2 inches large 1440×2960 pixels display at 529 PPI. It is powered by same Snapdragon 835 and Exynos 8895 processor under the hood. For storage, it has 64GB internal storage with 4GB of RAM. It has same front and rear cameras as above mentioned for S8. As far as battery is concerned, it has bigger 3500 mAh battery as compared to Galaxy S8.
Both the smartphones run on Android 7.0 Nougat Touchwiz UI on top. Connectivity features include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac (2.4/5GHz), VHT80 MU-MIMO, Bluetooth v 5.0 (LE up to 2Mbps), GPS with GLONASS, USB 2.0, NFC, MST. Both handsets have two different variants, Dual and Single SIM support. Both phones come with IP68 water and dust resistance. They have new Bixby virtual assistant support as well.
Pricing and Availability
The Samsung Galaxy S8 is priced at 57,990 INR whereas S8 Plus is priced at 64,990 and both the smartphone will available via Samsung Shop and Flipkart as well as various offline Samsung retailers across the country.
