Vivo Z3 with Snapdragon 670/710, Jovi AI, AMOLED display announced

Vivo has launched a new smartphone of “Z” series dubbed as Vivo Z3. Similar to the other Z series smartphone, the Vivo Z3 falls in an upper mid-range category with plenty of new features. It features a 6.3-inch 1080 x 2280 pixels Full HD+ Super AMOLED display with slim bezels on the sides, 90% screen-to-body ratio.

The handset is powered by either Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 670 or Snapdragon 710, depending upon which variant you choose. The 4GB RAM + 64GB  variant packs 670, while, the higher 6GB RAM + 64/128GB variant houses Snapdragon 710 under the hood. The optics department is handled by the dual 12MP LED flash, f/2.0 + 2MP rear camera, whereas, on the front, it has a single 12MP, f/2.0 shooter for selfies.

Further, it adds Jovi AI, rear-mounted fingerprint sensor and a 3315mAh non-removable battery. The dual SIM device runs on Funtouch OS 4.5 based on Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box. It measures 156 × 75.6 × 8.1 mm and weight is 163 grams. All the essential connectivity options like Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (dual-band) 2×2 MIMO, Bluetooth 5 LE, GPS + GLONASS are present in this device.

Vivo Z3 Pricing and Availablity

The Vivo Z3 is priced at 1598 yuan (Approx. $230) for the base variant, the 6GB RAM, 64GB storage (Snapdragon 710) costs 1898 yuan (Approx. $274 ), and the top variant with Snapdragon 710 goes up to 2298 yuan (Approx. $330). It comes in Aurora Blue, Midnight Black, and Pink colors options and will start selling from November 1st.
