A couple of months ago, Xiaomi had announced next gen. tablet called Mi Pad 4. Now the company has launched an upgraded version of the same tablet dubbed as Mi Pad 4 Plus. The device offers only LTE Version and brings enhanced performance compare to its colleague.
Xiaomi Mi Pad 4 Plus Specifications
The Xiaomi Mi Pad 4 Plus comes with 10.1-inch IPS LCD display with 1920 x 1200 WUXGA Full HD resolution. The device is crafted with full-Aluminium unibody design to give a premium touch. It has a massive 8620 mAh battery, which company claims to produce 16 hours of video playback, 18 hours of reading and 10 hours of hardcore gaming. The tablet is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 660 processor coupled with Adreno 512 GPU.
Furthermore, it has two storage variant- 4 GB RAM + 64 GB storage, 6GB RAM + 128 GB storage respectively. Regarding the optics, the handset is equipped with 13 MP, F2.0 aperture rear camera and a 5 MP front-facing camera with capabilities of AI-based facial recognition. The device measurements are 245.6 x 149.08 x 7.99mm and weighs 485 grams. It runs on MIUI 9 based Android 8.1, Oreo out of the box. Other connectivity options include Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac dual-band, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS with A-GPS, GLONASS, and USB Type-C.
Pricing and Availability
The Mi Pad 4 Plus is priced at 1,899 CNY (approx. 275 US$) for 64 GB variant (LTE), which goes up to 2,099 CNY (approx. 305 US$) for higher 128 GB storage (LTE) variant and comes in Black and Gold color options. As far as availability is concerned, the device is up for pre-booking on Mi Store and will start shipping from August 16 in China. Moreover, we haven’t any idea about its availability in global markets whether it will remain China-exclusive.
