Coolpad soon going to launch a new smartphone called Cool Play 7, the successor of last year’s Cool Play 6, the company confirmed via a Weibo post by calling it “Light Flagship.” To unpack this device, the company is holding an event on July 30.
Furthermore, the device has already been listed on JD.COM by disclosing all the key specs of Cool Play 7, so there isn’t any suspense remains regarding specs. According to JD.COM, the device is equipped with MediaTek MT6750, 1.5 GHz octa-core processor. It features 5.7-inches (19:9 aspect ratio) Full HD+ TFT display with having dual SIM support. As far as optics are concerned, the device includes dual rear cameras with 13 Megapixels sensor each. On the front, an 8 Megapixels camera is present for selfies.
The Cool Play 7 comes with 4 GB RAM and 64 GB of internal storage. The device offers 2,800 mAh no-removable battery with 5V==1A charger, which seems outdated in 2018. It measures 151 x 73.4 x 8.8 mm (HxWxD), whereas, the body weight is 199 grams. The basic connectivity options are available including GPS, WiFi, 3.5 mm jack and Micro USB port. Overall, these specs do not look impressive at all, but it will be interesting to see that on which price point the company launches this device.
