Google’s upcoming Pixel 2 and Pixel XL 2 devices are subject to a large number of rumors and leaks. Starting from initial rumors, there were several rumors that Google will be launching three Pixel phones but recent leaks Illuminated that Google only releasing two smartphones.
Now, an official-looking image of Pixel 2 released by Android Police and claims it would be the real Pixel 2. Hence, the final product might get some changes as still, these are two-three months left to be officially unveiled. Android Police rated it 8 out of 10 to be realistic. Also, the report claims the device is being manufactured by LG whereas Pixel XL 2 is said to come from HTC.
As for design, the device is said to feature a 6.0 inches AMOLED display, obviously protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection going with Pixel series standard. Though the device is not completely bezel-less, bezels are very minimal just looks like to adopt LG G6 design from the front side. On the rear side of the device, the fingerprint sensor is embedded middle of the rear portion. On the upper left side, a single camera lens can be found which indicate no Dual camera on Pixel XL 2. However, no comment has been made on 3.5 mm audio jack but some recent leak confirms Google might ditch 3.5 mm Jack to follow the current jack. The Android Police also confirmed to feature it a squeezable pressure-sensitive frame like we have already seen on HTC U11.
As Pixel XL 2 already surfaced on GFXbench by revealing some of the key specifications of this device. According to the GFXbench listing, The handset would be packed with Snapdragon 835 processor, Android 7.1.1, Nougat (more chances of Android O as Google always does), 5.6 inches 2K AMOLED display, 4GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. For the camera, it could sport a 12MP rear along with an 8MP front-facing Camera.
