Huawei subsidiary Honor just unleashes a new smartphone called Honor 7X as it had expected. The device brings 18:9 aspect ratio screen to match with the current market standard. If you remember Huawei had recently announced Maimang 6 a couple of weeks ago and the Honor 7X smartphone matches the specs as Maimang 6 holding with few minor changes.

It has 5.93-inch Full HD+ 1080 x 2160p display. Moreover, the company claims to be it not wider than last year’s 5.5-inch Honor 6x as far as size is concerned, but with taller body. The device is powered by HiSilicon Kirin 659 chipset paired with Mali-T830 MP2 GPU. Considering the optics, the device has dual rear (16 + 2MP) camera sensor and the front side is surrounded by an 8MP shooter to capture selfies.

The Honor 7X smartphone runs on Android 7.0 with company’s custom EMUI 5.1. It has 3,340 mAh battery with traditional micro USB 2.0 port. Regarding the storage, it arrives with 32/64/128GB storage options coupled with 4GB of RAM. Apart from that, it will have an option for hybrid microSD slot up to 128GB. The device dimensions are 156.5 x 75.3 x 7.6 mm and weight is 165 g.

Pricing and Availability
The Honor 7X starts from 1,300 RMB for 32GB, 64GB costs 1,700 RMB and goes up to 2,000 RMB for 128GB. Definitely, it would be a cheaper alternative for Maimang 6. The device will be available from 18 October in home country China, and Hopefully will be available in other markets later.
