Lenovo sub-brand Motorola has announced two new mid-range smartphones, Moto G5 and Moto G5 Plus.

Motorola Moto G5
Moto G5 Plus comes with 5-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) Full HD display with Corning Gorilla glass 3 protection. It is powered by Snapdragon 430 (MSM8937) processor with Adreno 505 GPU. In terms of storage, it comes in two variant, 2GB RAM and 16 GB storage or 3GB RAM ind same 16 GB built in storage. For optics, It has 13MP rear camera with dual-tone LED flash, PDAF, 1080p video recording and 5MP front-facing camera with OmniVision OV5693 sensor.
It packs a 2800mAh battery with 10W rapid charging. Connectivity features include 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2 and GPS. The handset comes with dual SIM support.
Motorola Moto G5 Plus
Moto G5 Plus has a larger 5.2-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) Full HD display with Corning Gorilla glass 3 protection. It is powered by Snapdragon 625 processor with Adreno 506 GPU. For storage, There are 3 variants available, 2GB or 3GB RAM with 32GB storage, 4GB RAM with 64GB storage.
Moving to cameras, It sports 12MP rear camera with dual-tone LED flash, Dual-Pixel Autofocus, Sony IMX362 sensor, f/1.7 aperture, 4K video recording. It has same 5MP front-facing camera with OmniVision OV5695 sensor, f/2.2 aperture as Moto G5. It packs a 3000mAh battery with Turbo charging
Both the phones have a unibody metal design, 1080p display and have water repellent nano-coating and runs on Android Nougat v7.0.

Pricing and Availability
The Moto G5 and Moto G5 Plus come in Lunar Gray and Fine Gold colors. The Moto G5 starts at 199 Euros (US$ 210 / Rs. 14005 approx.) for 2GB RAM/16GB storage. The Moto G5 Plus starts at US$ 229 (Rs. 15260 approx.) for the 2GB RAM/32GB storage and 279 Euros (US$ 294 / Rs. 19630 approx.) for 3GB RAM/32GB storage. There is also a 4GB RAM with 64GB storage version for select markets. Both the phones will be available beginning in March in various countries across Latin America, Europe, Asia Pacific and North America.
