Previously we got to know that the Finnish smartphone maker working on a new device. A well knows tipster Roland Quandt (@rquandt) had revealed that the device Nokia Phoenix (should be codename) will have Qualcomm’s latest mid-range chipset Snapdragon 710 under the hood but didn’t disclose anything except the processor. To take it one step further, another tipster known as Hikari Calyx confirms its existence and reveals some more information.

The tipster dug the information via FIH server and Meta Data posted by him confirms that it will have brand new chipset Snapdragon 710 based on 10nm FinFET technology. To recall, the chipset uses a Kryo 360 architecture and an octa-core CPU clocked at 2.2GHz coupled Adreno 616 GPU. Moreover, it will be running on Android 8.1.0, suggest metadata. However, we aren’t aware of what would be its actual name but speculations have it that the device should none other than Nokia 7.1 Plus, while, its opposite some other suggestions to have Nokia X7. The current situation doesn’t allow us to tell what it should be called, but Nokia is definitely working on a fresh device to provide a variety in its lineup.
